Historically and not in any order - and certainly NOT a coplete list. But while MC was here we found a few pics of past rides and he wanted to see them on the site...

1978 Chevy K10 sold in 1980 (gas in CA killed me!!)

Picked this up in 75 and got it running. Painted it an olive drab green - but with gold metal flake and 2 clear coats. GOOD looking ride, but when I deployed the guy I left it with GAVE IT AWAY because he was moving and didn't want to take it to his new house.

1975 F-250, 300 6Cyl, got at a police auction for about a grand. It was beat up and had buckshot wounds in/on it as the Police arrested the moonshiner that had it :!: Stuck some Clifford stuff on it and rebuilt the tranny/transfer.

There will be more when I find them.

Well, yeah - it was a mid 50's M38-A1, 134CI, Hurricane 4 :sa: (Title said it was a 1963, but they stopped production in '58 I think)
It had 5:38 gears and grave digger tires - which do just that in soft wet sand!!!

OK, found some stills of the stretched scrambler and scanned them. This started out as an '85 tan 4 banger and wound up as a silver metal flake gunmetal grey 304 with engine goodies and a CJ-7 hard top (you'll see the red doner CJ in the pics) - - and 18" longer behind the seats. I couldn't get up the back side of a low mountain (Mass-of-nouthin ski resort) without dropping into 2nd. . . so I "fixed" it!!

This was done at my (then) brother-in-laws shop in Clearwater FL. He and my siste since have split the sheet (divorce) and he got caught by the Feds for not providing crash test vehicles (a requirement when making passanger cars).

I topped the front end off with an 8274 8,000 LB winch and had a lot of fun with it. I was a fool to get rid of it - but I was much more stupid in those days...

Mudrat, That is just too cool! So did you do the work yourself? Either way, the bodywork turned out great! If ya find any more pics, I would love to see them! I love custom Jeeps! :lo1l:

I cut it in half and did some welding, but the body work was done by a pro - and it shows. I couldn't do that well as you saw in my shop on Fri ...er... Sat AM

I'm still looking for the pics when it's all back together..
