I just got one of your stainless steel oil filler tubes. I was wondering what the best way is to remove the old one out of my manifold?

Good question. :-|
By the way, what kind of HEI do you have?

Take a hammer and tap the top back and forth and it will loosen up, then grab the top and rock it while pulling up

Thanks for the info. Thats what I was going to try but I am glad that I asked first. The HEI that I have, I bought off ebay it was built refurbished to work with AMC V8. Haven't had a chance to try it yet though as my rig is in pieces :-)

Put the new one in the freezer and get it as cold as ya can. It will install very easy and stay put after it warms back to normal temps.

:t: Very good suggestion! We have used thermal fits for precision parts
