power vs manual shaft?

What is the difference between the power steering shaft and the manual steering rack? I'm going to be switching from power to manual and have found they are different part numbers. #-o

Give www.flamingriver.com a call and poke at their brains. I believe the shaft length is different and not too sure about the spline count on the box end of the shaft. When I swapped over to power steering, I lucked out and picked up a used box that a shaft already connected to it.
