the nice thing about a 1972-1975 dana 44 is both axels are the same no right or left and they are flanged axels with 30 spline they will hold up for some time with power and tires =360 cam and headers - 38/36 swampers -4:54 gears - and a heavy for on the clutch like 2000 rpm nuetral drops on black top the funny thing is only one axel was starting to twist even with a detroit locker

so now I am going to get moser to make me axels for the rear see how they hold up to a 401 built up some

I putting hub and disk brake on cj5, dana 44. The axles should be here this week. I am getting the axles from mosers.

I am using the spindle off another dana 30 I had and Chevy backing plates scout roders. it is stuff that I used on the front . I have to do some work on the back of the spindle the bolt patteren is the same.
