76 or later non-auto steering column - tilt prefered

I want to swap out my old '74 steering column for a newer style '76+ column. I would prefer a tilt if I am going through the hassle of modding the dash/firewall/brackets/etc. I don't need automatic shift.

If you have a decent tilt column (manual - no auto) that doesn't have a lot of slop in the tilt, I would be very interested. PM me if you have one and how much... I live in CO - 80525 if you need shipping estimates.

How about an auto tilt column for my '81 CJ8? And the accompanying shift rods to mate it to the swapped in Turbo 400 tranny I just installed ('76-'79 version column?). Thanks.

MC, I hate to be a pest, but did you ever look to see what you have?

I am renewing my search - does anybody have a manual tranny tilt column they are willing to part with? The snow is starting to melt in the mountains and wheelin' season is getting ready to begin.... I would love to have this done before then.
