Ummmm no....

It's normally a 232 AMC with a T18. Front is normally a Dana 44 and the older Dana 60 in the rear.
This truck has the D44 in the front and has a swapped AMC20 for the rear diff.
The powerplant has been converted to a Holden (Aust) 253 V8. I may yet plant a 360 in there as I have a spare one - but - the 253 runs very economicaly whereas the 360 is a glutton for fuel. Not good when a weekend away locally means 16 hours driving and you need range.

I will transfer this to readers rides. Sorry about the wrong posting...

In the states they only sold it as super short wheelbase airplane tug, correct? Stuck in low range only, Nissan diesel, th400 (?), and I think a NP208 with a 70 rear like MC stated. 2wd only the states. For some reason I always thought a tandem rear axle CJ-10a truck would be a cool project (unlike that crappy CJ5 someone posted a week or so ago!).
Later,
Jack
