center force clutch

getting ready to stuff this 401 in matt's jeep and I need a clutch. I'm thinking center force but every bodys sights only show one for 304 or 360. Where can I get one ???? 79 cj7 401 t-18 :-|

Try www.dialaclutch.com They dont' carry Centerforce not but they have Luk and Luk Gold which are pretty comparable. Since that is not a stock configuration you may have to contact them

When you order one tell them it's for a Wagoneer 401. The clutch is the same but the throwout bearing is different.

I've had very good luck running a factory Borg&Beck 11" clutch out of a Wagoneer in my CJ. The factory 10.5 and the 11" use the same holes in the flywheel. I burned out a factory 10.5" clutch with 16K miles on the Jeep. Replaced it with an 11" and ran another 80K before the front tranny seal gave out and oiled it. Replaced with another 11", and I have about 65K on that one now and still running strong. Yes, my 77 CJ7 has 160K on it. I bougth it at about 8 months old with 8K in early 78.
