I've hunted and searched to no avail. Rewired my '63 with a newer style wiring harness, everything works, but my all my lights work all the time! Changed light switches, checked my grounds, nothing helps! This is a harness from a mid 70's CJ, not exactly sure what year. Any sugestions?

Check the power lead for the light switch at the fuse block in the engine compartment. I built a cusotm harness for my CJ and had a issue with no headlights. Found out later that in certain years the power was on a different pin. Consult some old wiring diagrams to be sure....good luck

check your fuse block for a bent blade. i'd bet that you bent one when connecting the bulk head to the fuse block and the blade for lights is touching a hot blade.
