Oh yeah, these things are big in the Phillipines. They are called Jeepneys. Here's a couple of links:

They are also really big into modifying big rigs as well. These things have more lights and chrome on them than they know what to do with them and are brighter than staring at the sun.

a white vinyl roof, white leather interior,460 v-8. its the dudes daily driver.
