Hey guys, I've been fabricating power steering box braces for my full size jeep. The one I'm selling wasn't used simply because it wasn't attractive enough to satisfy my sense of underhood athetics, but it works perfectly. The box brace attaches to the steering box and then ties it to the opposing passenger side frame rail. This part is designed to reinforce the power steering box mounting so that larger then stock tires may be used without fear of cracking the frame on your FSJ! It will also improve steering response on lifted vehicles with large tires. The part is made from thick wall steel tubing and has a plate steel bracket TIG welded to one end and has curved nickle-plated steel steering box mounts on the other end. I coated the whole thing with "zylotec" which is similar to rhino line coatings, but is harder. I will include a drill bit and self-tapping bolts for an easy installation!
