I did the inital startup on my rebuild 360 last night and it kept spewing water out of the radiator for the entire time.

Now. I understand that there is air in the cooling system and that when the thermistat opens it will shoot water out of the radiator, but it never stopped. I ran that baby for 30 minutes and got a shower in the process.

It was like the thermistat opend and the pump sucked all the water out of the radiator and then closed again. I even tried keeping the hose in the radiator, but every 5 seconds old faithful came back.

Any ideas? :-|

Everything is new, which I know doesn't mean much as I have had a loooong list of new bad parts (NBP). Hey I think Omix-Ada should advertise them that way instead of NOS.

Oh ya and by the way, I think they should call the ignition module a fused link

Try pulling the stat out, and turnign the heat on, the run it, to try and get the water to just pump through, and all the air out, then put the T-stat back in. :dontknow:
