Block being done by students, questions

I am going to let my local college auto tech students rebuild my 360 this winter and I was wondering if we could make a list of things they could do and watchout for in terms of oiling for a relatively low RPM motor.
A printable list would be great, but just general suggestions would be nice that I could hand them when I give them my block..

PS how much should I expect parts to cost? If they are doing both the heads and shortblock? Rought estimate?
