Oh man what a dipstick!

Tube that is..I would have never imagined that a dipstick tube could be so stinkin hard to get lined up with the hole in the oil pan baffle plate!!!! #-o

But on a more positive note I wish I had thought of putting a compression union in the dipstick tube to make it two piece...Pretty slick..I got one listed as modified for headers from performance american style.. pretty trick idea. :t:

I just cut off the extra piece that's all curved... and hammered it in like a barbarian.. with lotsa silicone of course... :razz:

what I use is a little wrench to tap in the tube on the bottom of the larger diameter ring.

Oh driving it in was no sweat..But getting it lined up so the dipstick goes thru the hole in the baffle plate and not ramming into it leaving the tube sticking up three inches! that was the trick
