Axle/Manual Tranny Fluid?

Question: Can I run straight Lucas Gear Lube in my axles, or @ least 80%?

The short answer is yes you can, However as I found out if it gets very cold out you will have a tough time moving the shifter till the tranny warms up.. But on the plus side I have run a rtlo10 speed a million and a half miles on a Over the road tractor behind 550 hp and 2400 ft lbs of torque using the lucas in both trans and diffs as well as front hubs and adding to the engine oil ( I havent even put bearings in the engine yet)
Lucas products do work.(man If Detroit Diesel knew what we had done to thier series 60 with injectors ,turbo etc they would cry)
