O.K. I'm buying Two Sets of hubs, one for the wife's 86'-7 & the other for the 84'-CJ8.

Which one?

1. Warn-(Don't offer the supreme style for these yrs.) ???

2. Superwinch

3. Milemarker

4. Why did U say that?

Thanks,

Sorry guys the j10 hubs wont work . The j10 is for a 44 and is an internall design and the cj hubs are 5 bolt external mount. Why not try the mile marker steel hubs they seem to be a bit stronger then the warns. Warn also makes an excellent internal hub conversion kit [i have used and it worked great] but it is a bit expensive . Hope this helps a bit?

You could convert to the warn premiums by using a 79-82 hub that had the 6 bolt locking hub instead of 5 bolt. It will bolt on to your existing spindle and rotor.

I just dont like the 5 bolt hubs, I've seen a few of them grenade over the years. I've never seen a 6 bolt hub fail, although I have seen the bolts shear off, but Warn also offers a stud kit for the hubs.

Maybe a conversion to think about if you do any heavy 'wheeling.

Bob.
