that's funny.. it's been pouring rain here up north... we had a nasty thunderstorm a few nights ago.. in late November, that's kinda weird... hopefully we'll have a few storms soon...

we had a quick little snow a little over a week ago, about 1" or 2 but since then only rain on and off

I need to get off my ass and put the snow tires on the daily drivers, I keep putting it off

Snow tires are over-rated bald ice skates are more fun 8) Was up in Montana these last couple of weeks. -15 degrees several days snow showers the rest accumulations of 1-4 inches, Return trip to california freezing rain 1" solid ice on highways (luckily i drive at night so i dont have to fight all the morons on the road) from idaho state line to Winnemuca then once i got to Winnemuca NV they had some gravel on the roads and the right lane was plowed off. donner Pass california 18" of snow slow driving tire chans required on trailering rigs (pansies i seldomnly had to chain up my tractor in MT why do i have to chain up a 4x4 pickup and the stinkin 2 axle trailer, always irritates me but i guess after doing it for the last 5 years i knew what to expect... Rant off 111!!!)

How about those signs on Donner pass for Truck drivers..I guess were supposed to hear the friendly voice of Sonny Pruit in our heads saying "Easy going from here Let 'er roll save your brakes" Or Crank it up steep upgrade ahead..Man I use to laugh my butt off..Yea buddy I'm gonna let 80,000 pounds have it's head and "Roll" in a state with a 55 mph speed limit and more CHP troopers than the population of some third world countries.. but man some of the funniest winter driving I have seen was CA. cars with skis on top heading to and from that ski area in the snow..
