Woke up this morning flat tire no spare...wont hold air. -3 degrees...froze my fingers off and had to use a stupid .25 cent air box..3 jeeps outside needing attention...

went outside for break at work, my mountain dew was getting colder as i drank it. :shock: didn't check the temp during the day, but it is -7 right now forecast of -15 tonight. :smile:

Yup Winter is here.. You all remember here a month or so ago I did a complete resto on the J-10 even got primer sealer on it.. Rebuilt the 360 new t-176 all the running gear gone through AND redid the interior..yep all the accumulated problems since 1984..Fired up the beast to drive to work in the snow/wind and below zero temps.. Fired right up and off we went bout halfway to work I notice its getting cold in cab, the new autometer temp gauge says all is well 190 and purring smoothly, still getting colder. get to work pop the hood hmm warm water going into heater core cold coming out.. Figures, mucho money in restoring the perfect winter vehicle and I overlook the heater core. Plugged solid.

so at this point I have all of the benefits of a jeep CJ including the heater equivilant btu output of a Bic lighter.

I'm thinking MR Murphey lives at my place.

had a lexus last week, cold air out the driver's side only, others were plenty warm :-| finally thought i'd try flushing the heater core, what do ya know, it was better, not perfect, but enough better to tell the difference. :shock:

Its about 40* here and its supposed to rain but I haven't seen any all day just a whole bunch of wind.

Looks like a white AFTER Christmas is in store today. High of 30 with an 80% chance of snow with 3-5 inches of accumulation. Which means 40% chance and a light dusting :? Still more than these yok'els can handle. Oh, we've got the trucks and plows to handle the roads, but an abundance of idiots that THINK they know how to drive in the snow.

Hmmmm, I can barely wait to drive back with all those idiots on Wednesday! Driving to Nashville, left and it was 55, got here and it was 17 and covered in snow! White Christmas here! Even got a few cool Jeep books and a neato Monster Garage wired remote control rock crawler rom Santa!!

Well standby big guy ... we've had a change in the weather since you been gone. 14inches here at the house!!! These are from today 12-26-04. It's supposed to reach 40 on Tuesday.

Got a foot of snow here in BC on Christmas Day, first serious snowfall this year for us... it's warm out and melting :-(

Yeah it's amazing here, in the winter, and the summer it gets HOT...
I didn't realize the beauty until Tigger came up here and just couldn't believe how green it was and how beautiful the mountains were. I had to stop and just look, to see what he saw. Living in the same place for 29 years makes you stop seeing the beauty .... Glad you like the pics!
