oh thats not a very big jeeps 7 sisters 1 brother there was nine of us!! Dad was a busy man lol , the new tattoo is the american motors logo, i have to locate a couple of my kayak buddies it is not wise to go alone when the creeks are like this here i have seen whole canoes disappear never to be found. the current will pull you right under a fallen tree and hold you down if your not carefull, plus the one creek has a dam that is now flowing over so you have to paddle your butt off to get to where you portage around the dam then carrie the kayak down a mudd 60 foot steep bank to the bottom of the dam, sounds fun huh? 111!!! . i make alot of desert wines they are real close to sherry, very sweet but i have zifindal, australian shariz, penot, i have a chablis and a cabernet, i had a thing called a wine club where a group of people would get together and make wine, i would show them how , they would keep it at my place so we could filter it and let it age i had a real wine cellar last year i sold the building it was a winery in the early 70s,

gremlin boys

You need to try it. Don't need to mix it. Also if you do mix it you will find you can almost double what you would normaly put in.

I like a good social wine. Never tried it over ice cream before.

I think you should go for it..I'm surprised your not a math fan, that normally goes hand in hand w/computers. I love math especially algebra and accounting...I know that sounds odd but I guess it was just because it came pretty easy to me...I use to be a tutor for accounting in college...

I wasn't. I have learned more on my own than I did at College. The colleges I went to, made you take stupid classes that had no bearing on anything I was majoring in.
The computer field was just starting when I was in school so most of the classes were not really informative.
Now I can learn more on my own in tech classes than in a College.

dewragjen
01-04-2005, 10:14 AM
I'd agree w/you on that - I think you learn about 90% in the actual field rather than what is taught in most colleges...Plus all the basics that they make you take really don't pertain to anything your going to use in the field..

Penguin

Dewrangjen, you are an Admiral now. Does this mean I have to salute you?

pyagid
01-04-2005, 10:28 AM
I feel the same way. The majority of the stuff i use in my career I learned on my own, on the job. I went to school to spend to much money on a piece of paper that says i know what i am doing.

Yeah i am kind of odd as far as the math thing goes. I really enjoy things that use a lot of math, My favorite subject was always science, and engineering classes i took. But Math for some reason was always my least favorite.

I hate the thought of going back to school to take more classes, i pretty much forced my self to get through what i did. My wife on the other hand would love to be a career student as well. She loves going to classes and all that stuff

Pyagid, sounds to me like you didn't have a good teacher in Math. I was lucky there, we had some great Mathamatics teachers where I went to school. But when I got to college it just fell off they for some reason didn't inspire me.

I love math. I think it is the most important thing you can learn.

dewragjen
01-04-2005, 10:35 AM
Yeah, I'd have to say that my first college taught me how to teach myself for a pretty penny...But once you have a degree when you go back the only classes you really have to take are your majors...I just like the ability to dig in all the different fields out there...I get bored really easy if I don't feel like I'm learning something new or challenging myself...I'd have to say my worst subject always had something to do w/writing/english...Math is a language I understand - English isn't...

Ditto, I couldn't speak the English language correctly if my life depended on it.
Languages based on math I can get in no time. Most programming languages I learned were so easy it was sinful. I even got Latin better than english.
I am going to try Russian, French, German, Italian next to see how easy they are to learn. I have some CDs to try out.

dont know about you chick after reading this

96% of women are liars, honest

NINETEEN out of 20 women admit lying to their partners or husbands, a survey on attitudes to truth and relationships has found.

Eighty-three per cent owned up to telling "big, life-changing lies", with 13 per cent saying they did so frequently.

Half said that if they became pregnant by another man but wanted to stay with their partner, they would lie about the baby’s real father.

Forty-two per cent would lie about contraception in order to get pregnant, no matter the wishes of their partner.

And an alarming 31 per cent said they would not tell a future partner if they had a sexual disease: this rises to 65 per cent among single women.

In the poll of 5,000 women for That’s Life! magazine, 45 per cent said they told "little white lies" most days. The favourite untruth was "of course you don’t look fat", with "these shoes were only £10" in second place.

Jo Checkley, the editor of That’s Life! , said that while many women now lied to avoid hurting their partner’s feelings, covering up the truth about a baby could have far more damaging consequences.

She said: "Modern women just can’t stop lying, but they do it to stop hurting other people’s feelings. It could be argued that these little white lies simply make the world go round a little more smoothly. But to tell a man a baby is his when it’s not, or to deliberately get pregnant when your partner doesn’t want a baby, is playing Russian roulette with other people’s lives."

The National Scruples and Lies Survey 2004 found plenty of untruths were told over the Christmas period. A total of 78 per cent said they would pass off a second-hand gift as a brand new present, while half have lied about a Christmas card being "lost in the post".

Women will also lie to save people’s feelings, with only 27 per cent saying they would tell a man if he was hopeless in bed (although a third would tell their friends all about it).

Just over half would flatter a man if he asked them about his looks and only 46 per cent would give the "brutal truth". However, 61 per cent of women would want their partners to be "brutally honest" if they asked them "do I look fat?" or "do you think my best friend’s attractive?"

Elsewhere, 54 per cent admitted stealing sweets or chocolates; 23 per cent would "sneak a bottle or two" home if they were invited to a party by a well-off friend; 49 per cent would "kiss and tell" to the media for £25,000 if they had a one-night stand with a celebrity; and 38 per cent say they would marry purely for money.

Nearly half said they had faked orgasms and 55 per cent admitted claiming they were tired, had a headache, or felt ill to "get out of lovemaking".

Nineteen per cent of women with a long-term partner said they had cheated on him, while 30 per cent of all women have had an affair with a married man. Sixty-eight per cent said they did not trust their partner.

As far as trustworthy personalities are concerned, the woman with "the most honest face" was Fern Britton, the This Morning host. She was followed by the singer Kerry Katona (formerly McFadden), Sharon Osbourne of The X Factor and the Queen.

The "most honest male face" jointly went to Ant and Dec, the presenters of I’m A Celebrity ... Get Me Out Of Here!, with Prince William second.

The results come in the wake of the controversy surrounding David Blunkett, the Home Secretary, and his former lover, the publisher Kimberly Quinn. They had a child, but she kept details of the affair secret from her husband Stephen, even taking her son to Corfu for a week’s holiday to bond with him this year.

Mr Quinn accepted his wife’s story, but she had covered up the fact she was accompanied by Mr Blunkett.

• The survey questioned 5,000 women, average age 38, across Scotland, England, Wales and Northern Ireland.

Top ten porkies

That’s Life! magazine has carried out its National Scruples and Lies Survey 2004 to find out the top ten lies told by women. They are:

1. "Of course you don’t look fat!"
2. "These shoes were only £10."
3. "The bus/train was late."
4. "I’ve got a headache."
5. "I’ve only had one drink."
6. "That dress looks good on you."
7. "The cheque’s in the post."
8. "You look ten years younger."
9. "You’re wonderful in bed."
10. "I love you."

wow mc has way to much time , me i like to believe there is good in all people man or women , i am probably a little older than the rest here but i am not old, and have found a few very trustworthy ladies, but spent to much time with my business which they sure liked the money, i think the younger 20s to mid thirtys female do not realize the amount of work and time it takes to get a great business rolling i will be injoying myself when i can take life easy by my mid fourtys i have all my toys and my own home, i put all this before any real partying. and that seems to be the route the younger women go. i am not including all women by any means just havent found one who wants to work now and enjoy life at its fullest in a few years while we are still young in my book,

i think the younger 20s to mid thirtys female do not realize the amount of work and time it takes to get a great business rolling

You know something, you are probably right on that. Tigger and I got www.tapoffroad.com (shameless plug) going, and it's an online business that takes up a lot of our time, and dedication, but we always remember what's more important in life. So we have that and a successful business.
I'm sure not all men or women would be as patient as he and I have been with each other with making this business a success.
