Could the block still be usable or junked. I haven't had time to take it apart yet, too freaking cold out.

Some of those parts are connecting rod. Over revving, old age, stress, metal fatigue, seized bearing, hard to tell what caused it. It's also hard to tell what will be salvagable and what won't. The crank will be scored, maybe turnable, maybe not. If things whipped bad enough to break the cam, it's a good bet that the piston skirts are broken off the block, so it's probably trash, but you might get lucky. It's also a good bet the piston is broken and the walls are scored.

Crank turn, bore, new cam, new pistons, at least 1 new rod. Time to look for a good core. #-o

Ok, I see a cam, lifter, pushrod, is that parts of a rod??
Hard to tell from the bi-product about the condition of the block. Depends on how much that rod banged around.
