Okay I have been fighting these junk carbs for a month and I just can't take it anymore.What I have is an 84 CJ-7 6cyl 5-speed(future V8 and auto conversion when time and money allow it)2 bbl. computer conrolled carb.What I would like to do is junk the bid carb and computer.I do not want to go into this blind so I need some advice.I have an excellent 2bbl carter from a 1968 rebel,it fits on the intake and the linkage will work with some jury rigging.What do I have to do to disable the computer or take it out of the system?I have access to an 81 spirit that is non computer controlled would any of the wiring harness help me accomplish this goal?They both have the ford brain box.If it was a horse I would have already shot it.I don't have the money for a new wiring harness and finding a good used one is next to impossible.Any advice would be greatly appreciated.Thanks for the bandwidth,Keith
