72 commando help

I am trying to find out what the weight is on a 1972 commando hard top v8 . i am looking into doing a coilover on all 4 corners and need the weight to determine the rite spring rates . if anyone has any books on the commando that they would like to sell pm and let me know

Not sure I can give you an exact, but a station wagon, which had a hardtop, had a GVW of 3900 pounds. Now to complicate matters, there was an optional 4700 pound GVW.

Why not just have it weighed? Lots of truck stops, scrap iron places, and grain places have scales you can pay a little to use.
