i am at the final stages of assembly on my 360. it is a 80-84 model.

the tappets i got with the rebuild kit are sealed power. the specs are:

height 1.85
width .903

my old lifters are:

height 1.895
width .91

does anyone have a TSM that can look up the factory tolerances for a 360? i have a 1979 TSM but it only covers the 304. it lists the width as: 9.04 - 9.06

the new tappets are sealed power PN ht 2011

any advice guys?

am i going to have a problem with these new lifters being a touch loose in the bore (compared to the orig) and a touch shorter?

thanks guys!

If this helps ya, the 304, 360, and 401 are all the same, just based on the fact that my Edelbrock cam/lifters can be fit into all of these engines.
