oil dipstick problem

I got the replacement dipstick tube from 4wdh, it will not go in at all.
i had the machine shop completely remove the old tube so i could set a new one in properly, and i ordered this one and tried grease, the freezer for a day, hammering, everything, and it wont come close to sitting in the motor right.

any ideas?

could i just do a tac weld on the block to glue the tube to it?

Try taking a small wrench like a line wrench and using a hammer to tap the side of the wrench you push over the tube....its really the only dang way to install those buggers :idea:

I am welding up driveshafts tonight.... I will have dash controls for each axle and for the driving mode and the same control unlocks the swaybar....now I can get fat in the drivers seat :?: :?: :?: :oops:
