I don't wish to scare anyone bout head studs, but I have it from a very reliable source that they are only good for racing where the engine is gone through a lot. I bought a set for my 401 thinking of better head seal but was told they cause water seepage over time. My Machinist said it wasn't a good idea and told me to get ARP head bolts instead.

I guess my head stud kit will have to wait till the 401 Gremlin blower motor I'm wishing for, huh¬ø
Grimes has had articals bout cams in Hot Rod Magazine and is very experienced in Hiperformace engine machining as I did some research to find the best machine shop in my area to do the work for me.
