I had manual brakes so I picked up a MC/booster/bracket off of E-bay and installed it. The problem is my pedal had to go down about an inch to attach to the rod of the booster. I bled the brakes thoughroly and they work somewhatthe jeep stops better. I just don't have as much room between the pedal and firewall. I heard about an ajustable rod? Do I need one. The brakes work and the booster works I do notice a big difference but I am concerned with the little space I have between the pedal and firewall. Does my fibergalass body have any thing to do with it?

Any help is grealy needed and appreciated.

Yes their are some contributors....first off what style and who made the body. Second a adjustable rod will take care of that for you making sure the master is good to begin with

The body is a CJ7 from 4WD. The booster is working, it hold a vacuum real good. I checked it this am and it still had vacuum from last night. Where or who can supply me with an adjustable rod? Or should I just wait and do the GM Booster upgrade?

Thanks Jeeps

Can you take that little arm and bend it back?
