Intake manifolds

I picked up a AMC 4bbl intake with a Q-Jet already installed (with custon adaptor), Yeah it was cheap - FREE

My question was, does it fit my 80/81 AMC 360 block? The guy I got it off of had it on his 78 or 79 Wagoneer.

I'm asking because Jeepr4ever had a post about how to adapt an old intiake to a new block.


What should I be looking at/for?

:? Sure will. All the V-8 manifolds since 1970 are the same. The swap issue is 1968-1969 blocks that used a different head. The early manifolds had all the bolt holes in a perfect line, 1970 up have the 2 center holes on each side raised slightly.

Cool, so there shouldn't be any problems with the intake channels mating up with the heads?

BTW do any of you guys know much about Q-Jets? I'd like to know if I can get electric choke installed or modified for the one I have.
