Sorry if this has already been mentioned but I didn't see it so,

If you're not sure what a motor plate is, it basicly is a solid piece of thick aluminum that takes the place of motor mounts. They generally bolt accross the front of the block and the back around the trans pattern then to brackets on the frame rails.

I can only find them in parts catalogs (Jegs, Summit and the like) for chevys and fords mostly. Guess it has something to do with the timing cover being in the way but no reason why no rear ones cause they all bolt between the block and the transmission.

Just an idea for the drag racers out there, could be used in other applications I would think.
