Hey All,
Occasionally when I start my 75 CJ-5 w/AMC 360 it sort of cranks over and then sputters and farts out the carb almost like it's cranking in reverse! but it's not.
This only happens when I start the vehicle and it's not predicatable it happens at random.
I don't have a vacuum gauge but I suspect that could be the problem? maybe it's advancing the timing too much?
If this is a timing issue could it be effecting the lifter tick I have?
What steps should one take when tuning an AMC 360 after it's sat for about 8 months aside from oil change and a coolant change?
