I managed to get my new 401 and my new 727 bolted into my wrangler last weekend and then found the big pizza pan size plate that was between the th400 and the motor originally. I think know the answer but before I pull the motor, even though this is a different trans that plate needs to go between the belhousing and engine block right.
I remember reading somewhere there is a ring that is not needed with a 727 compared to 400. I think this refers to the small copper ring that bolts to the crank between the flex plate.
I just want to make sure before I take 2 steps back.
