I just rebuilt my T-176 and Dana 300 and put back in my 1982 CJ-5 Everything seems to work fine, except the gear for the speedometer is not in the right position for the gears to meet. Can I adjust it with out pulling the T-Case again, and before I pulled it out of Jeep speedometer was not accurate but is only out a little bit ( I now have 30‚Δω tires). How hard would it be to change?

To get it more accurate you will have to change the speedo gear. but in the meantime, you should be able to index the housing that holds that gear so it will mesh with the output shaft.

OK how do I do that. Do I just turn it till it won't turn any more? Does it mater if I turn it clock wise or anti clock? Please some direction.

Take off the speedo cable from the transfer case. Remove the "keeper" from the speedo gear holder and turn it until the gears mesh (you can tell because the part that the cable goes into won't spin free). Intall the keeper in the proper slots and install cable.
