tech on MJ

I recently wasgiven a 1986 MJ with more rust than paint. It is 4wd but it seems to be broken. Ide like to know anything i can about these trucks. I do plan on going 3 inch lift and proably 31's. Anyone who has worked on one, built one, or just has some general tech info drop your .02

Drivetrain is basically the same as an XJ. except rear is spring under instead of Spring over.

You could go spring over in the rear and get about 5.5 - 6" lift, do a 6" lift in the front

and run 33-35" tires

this is SOA in the rear with a ford 8.8 and 34" LTBs
