For many years now I have been seeing insanely fast Mustangs with motors smaller than 350 ci, and a centrifugal blower (Paxton or Vortec). I was thinking that maybe someone ought to attempt that strategy with an AMC. Any thoughts?

I'd love to that but the problem is finding or making the brackets. I suggested it a while ago under product ideas without much of a response.

It really can't be too tough to make up a few brackets. I work in metal fab, I can build any bracket a person desires. BTW, I've been at a music fest all day     holycrap wutabuz !!

All I need is a blower to work with! I don't happen to have one myself.

Their steel #-o
OK, ok  ... they look like this, radiused for a D-44 tube (mine are 2.96" diameter - a slight undersize for hand fitting is ok with me), to fit 2.5" wide springs with a 7" long flat top. I don't have the rise height from the top of the tube to the 'flat' but a rough guess is 1".
These as you can see have 3 pin holes for the spring pak.

Man, I need a set also. But then again, I might just make an antiwrap bar based on a design from www.samsoffroad.com . :-| Shoo, I'm just gonna focus on the motor right now....

I will check and see if I have the tooling for the brake to make a part that is so narrow inside. Our brake is down at the moment(the brake is broke  ), so I hope you're not in a big hurry. Pester me in a week or so, I have a short attention span. BTW, if I were to just build a set of these on my own time, I'm not sure I could beat $38. But for a set or two, I may be able to sneak a "G"-job in...

I'd just use some 2.5x.25 square tubing and a torch. It's more work to look those up and order them than to just make some if you've got the tubing around.
