You can vote once a day from each IP address. Took us a while to figure it out. Sometimes they don't count, but we like to stay on the first page simply for exposure to othe AMCer's!!

Yup, made it in one piece! The trip sucked - I didn't get on the road from Virginia Beach until 4pm. I went to fill up the truck (cause they so nicely gave it to me with 1/4 tank :(: ) and everytime I pulled the trigger on the gas pump, it would cut off like it was full. Well, I thought it was just the crappy gas station (http://www.bulltear.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=3543&highlight=gas+pumping) that I was at, so I filled up near the Highway 58/I-95 interchange (and to grab some food) and it happened again. Then I noticed some fuel leaking a little. Sh!t. It was just a drop every couple seconds, and it was coming from where the filler spout is, just on the inside of the truck.

So I crawl under it and it appears that the aluminum panel that protects hoses were bent to sh!t when the tire blew out (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v359/jbrunsonjr/UhaulBlowOut1.jpg) and has crushed the hoses between the truck and protection guard. Anywho, I looked at it for a while and couldn't bend it back (tools all packed up in the truck), so filling up took forever. I had to let fuel dribble into the tank. #-o

Anywho, I drove straight through until I hit Hotlanta around 3:45am. My buddy Nick came down from Nashville, as well as my Mom and Sister, so I put the up at the hotel (http://www.hilton.com/en/hi/hotels/index.jhtml;jsessionid=LTYD2RTGWIU5MCSGBIYM22QKIYF CXUUC?ctyhocn=ATLHPHF) for the night. Unloading was a breeze - it's just loading that's a bitch. The Jeep even fit in the garage with the tiny tires on it and the hard top on! Woo hoo!! Oh, and I found a buyer for my 33's, also!

The grass hadn't been cut in a month, so I have a guy doing it for the rest of the year, then in the spring I will buy a lawn mower. (http://www.deere.com/en_US/ProductCatalog/FR/series/combine_sts.html) One thing I didn't realize is that the place doesn't have a frig - kinda wierd for a rental unit. I went out and bought a college frig to tide me over till I can afford one. A guy a work with has an ebay store and sells phones, camcorders, etc, so I have gotten stocked on the house electronics pretty cheaplt.

One thing I didn't realize was that this city uses it's own garbage bags. Go figure! For two weeks they wouldn't pick my trash up and now I see why - not in a purple bag! Plus the little buggers are $$$ - how about $22 for 20 bags?!?!?! :!:

Anywho, now I am caught up on laundry and cleaning dishes, etc. so I am now going through all my odds and ends boxes. I love the garage - I can park both the Jeep and the Honda (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v359/jbrunsonjr/Jeep/InDrivewayComparedtoacivic.jpg) in the garage, and still have some room to work on the Jeep! Man, I'm not used to that!! Anywho, all is well and I love it here. I have two 4WD shops less than 5 miles from the house, so I am pretty stoked!

Better hit the hey!
Jack
