have to show amc manifactured jeep & then went out of business, so i tag my 85 historic. dmv wants proof amc made jeep, my title just says 85 jeep , dosent have amc on it.

it was bought out by chrysler corp. can't believw the dmv is that
moronic #-o just drive of tow your jeep to the dmv, bet them 20 bucks
and lift the hood. the smog sticker will have AMC on it.

Another reason Mary-land is STUPID!!!
Yes AMC made 1985 Jeeps - I have one. I'll have to find the title to see if it say AMC though. Does the VIN ID tell you it's a Jeep?

yes the vin should be 1j..... or something like that J = Jeep so according to te VIN its a Jeep it doesnt say it was owned by AMC.
I have been looking for a good source that gives the timeline of jeep/ kaiser/ amc but have yet to com up with anything
