Just looking for some opinions here. When I get my motor done should I
have it painted the old amc blue or black, the only reason I'm thinking of black is that it will hide oil spots and any dirt better than the blue would.
I'm very pickey about how clean everything is on my car :(:

Hammerite makes a blue that is very close to that shade, and with the "hammered" look, it's double cool. I have painted every motor I have built with it since 1990.

Thanks Pyagid,
BTW, that Hammerite paint, once baked by engine heat is TOUGH. It will survive the hot tank, only slightly dulled, but not removed, remarkable for a non-catalysed paint.
