Time to upgrade Electrical system

Its time to upgrade the electrical system in the CJ to the biggest and baddest Alternator with the most amperage, anyone have any experience with the Powermasters or Mean Green alternators or even a better substitute? I'm using 45 amps now constantly running the ECM, stereo, A/C, lights, fuel pump, Elocker, dumps,relays, fans,you name it. Time to retire the Motorcraft. Jeff

Ever think of an on-board welder? My Mobi-Weld uses a 90 amp Bosch alternator, which seems to be fine for everything, including dual batteries and winch. Mine is older, I think the newer models go up to a 300 amp alternator for commercial applications.

300 amps! HooollllyyyyyCRAP!! Why not go 24 or 48V ?

Almost make ya' wonder if anyone makes a 120 vac alternator for "automotive" applications.
