what would it take besides a bracket to put dual alternators on my cj with a 304 engine

would i need to do anything special with the wiring like an isolator or wire the exiter any different

got the brackets built but I dont know if i need to do anything special with the wiring or if i can just wire it like a normal alternator

Dunno Ironman - I was hoping someone else would jump in so I could see the anwser too :roll:
I found a bunch of dual battery set ups, only one had something to do with 2 gensets

As in wire them in paralell with each alt returning to the starter solnoid and the other red wires just tired together?
