Pin hole size would need to be 7/16" and that section should be 1/4" wide to allow for the retainer pin and washer. The female threaded rod section would need to be 3/8x24 fine as pictured below (fit to a later style HB, 0-ring/metric):

These rod ends would be useful when fitting an early (flared hose fittings) GM 1 ton dually HB unit to a FSJ with no other modifications required. They are not currently being produced for individual sale.

Here's a picture of how the early unit currently fits bolted to the aluminum spacer and pedal assembly. The early HB has a section surrounding the pushrod that protrudes beyond the back of the HB and prevents fitting of the (pictured) currently available adjustable rod ends. Threading can't extend beyond the right side of the green tape in order to retain non-binding actuation.:

I'd go for one.

How do you get the pushrod out anyways?

On most of the units the pushrods technically don't come out, they are staked in. To remove them requires annealing the retainer and if not done properly leads to a cracked piston which is not replaceable. The process of annealing will also likely require you to replace the seals for further expense. Sending the unit in to have all this work done costs in excess of $150. When completed the rod is held in place by a nylon retainer clip.
The benifits of this offset pushrod adjustable end are:
1) no expensive annealing/repair is required
2) you just cut your rod to length and thread it 3/8x24
3) if you have a FSJ (Wagoneer, Cherokee, JTruck) it will allow you to mount the aluminum spacer block for the booster on the firewall in the original bolt holes because the offset on the adjustable rod end does not require you to lower the aluminum block for rod alingment.
4) if you are using an early GM HB unit from a one ton truck there is not enough pushrod to fit a std. adjustable rod end (available from MP Power Brakes), although they will work on the later metric/o-ring HB units as far as I can tell. This style offset rod end is the easiest way to adapt the early flared hose fitting GM HB.
