ok this is getting ridiculous. i have broken two dipsticks trying to get them in the block. I hammered and hammered and it never would go in. I did file it down two or three times in between the whacking. I used a box wrench to spread the load as someone had suggested. Am i missing something still? Is there any way to convert it to a chevy style tube or a universal tube or some kind of aftermarket flexible tube. Im sick of messing with it.

We are working with a mfg to make these better and will be offering them in chrome as well....BUT what you need to do is grind the 2 steps down. The factory hole is .324 and the bumps on the tube are .348....they dont fit at all!!! You will need to modify your tube to get it to fit.

Do you have any of those tubes from that manufacturer? Or is it just in the develoing stage? Any idea when they will be available?

Is it flexible like a lokar or just improved from the original design?
