brek, I sent him an email, when he responds I'll let you know.
So, you think these would look cool on a 401 with twin holleys?
I am going for a "different" look, not just the typical Eddy Performer & 600cfm with sidepipes. Rather something a little more "radical" but yet still keeping with a sort of old school tradition. oh, and yeah, I am too deep in this to back up & go the blower route, but that would be cool
:lo1l:
Dave
If you do get a hold of the guy maybe see if he'll drill holes and baffle them, also will they clear the blower motor on my 69' x

BREK,
Did you contact the guy about the drilling & baffling? What did he say?
Dave
he's going to drill & put 1 1/2"od x 2" tall tubing something like a velocity stack, no baffles and I had him make the covers 3 1/2" tall all to the tune of $175 with shipping right to my front door.
I'm sure if you want he would add baffles also, but when I spoke with him he said that he runs about the same setup that I am getting on his small block chev and doesen't have any issues with oil getting thru the breathers. I will keep y'all posted as to how these work out. also check out his web site www.JGangRacing.com they have some pretty cool stuff there

Very cool, let us know. I will be ordering a set of these as soon as I catch up on $ from the motor build if they work out well for you. I am also contemplating having him work up an oil pan for those of us that are running the TF 727 and have DS clearance issues.
well my covers came in and they look great :lo1l: , but theres one small problem the mounting holes won't all line up :(: . I sent them back today and the guy said he will make me a new set :t: , should take about another week or so to get them
got my new set and they fit perfect, no leaks or anything. The craftsmenship is great, the welds are all as perfect as I have ever seen. The only problem I ran into (and I do not blame Bob for this) is I had to notch the blower motor to fit it back into place. All in all this guy has some really nice covers and I would buy from him again :t:
