Has anyone ran an Isky cam in their 360? Just curious how they work. I have my Eye on the 280H.

Thanks :-|

I ran a 280H in a 360 and it was not a bad cam 9:1 motor though the 1000-2000 rpm range was a little weaker than i like. If i had it to do over again Id probably look at the EX262H With .493/.500 lift 218/224 @.050 and 262/270 adv dur on a 110 lobe seperation it looks pretty nice like probably what i would build another 360 with. otherwise ive got a custom grind sitting in the garage that a friend gave me for a 360 ive always wanted to try its .500/.508 220/226 @.050 270/274 adv dur on a 112 lobe seperation. problem is i just havent built a 360 lately.

the idle on the 280H was noticable but real nice maybe an 750-800 rpm idle with mild lobe and it could idle down to about 600 before any issues. Id did have a airgap and 750 edelbrock on it and off the line there was a mild hesitation/ stumble that i couldnt get rid of with jets or timing, i think that possibly might have been low port velocity due to the intake and too big of a carb??"??

to give you an idea on my current 401 (i know its not a 360) im running a .510/.510 226/226@.050 dur 274 adv dur on 112 and its right on the money for 10.2:1 cr & Fuel injection, good low end great mid range runs on pump gas and swings to 6000rpm happily. idle is 750 with the camd idle but no surging. it will idle down to 400 rpm if it needs to. apples and oranges i know but not too far off AMC is AMC
