I still have a T18 in a 72 J4K, no idea on overall condition gearing etc.

the one with the 6.34 ratio preferably one from a jeep with the bellhousing and the t-case because they have a different shift linkage.

If you mean CJ(Jeep) good luck. It will be cheeper and easier to use a Ford 2wd T-18 and find a T18/Dana20 combo from a J-truck or Scout and use the T-case adpt. Then redrill the Ford trany to accept the T-case adpt and redrill the bellhousing. Look to Novak adapters for more info. As far as the shifter linkage it's all internal in the T-18.

The Wagoneer/J-truck T-18 can be fitted to a CJ. The short input shaft and bearing retainer are available (about $250). Add a small parts kit and gaskets (another $100) and you're good. The front bolt pattern and t-case adapter are the same as a CJ. The CJ model20 t-case linkage needs to be extended about 3 3/4", but that's fairly simple too.

In Denver, I had one u-pull-it that would call whenever a 4 speed wagoneer or truck came in. I'd pull the trans for $75. I'd rebuild them (about 3 hours work), and put them on ebay. Minimum sale was $600, with one going for $950 (w/bellhousing). Not bad for a $425 investment and 3 hours work. :!:
