Anyone have any opinions about lifters?

I am collecting parts for a 401 build and dont want to buy junk. Most likely they will be hydrolic and a hydrolic cam but any brands better than others?

What are your opinions on this and also Lunati Cams & Pistons?

Thanks
Dave

I would check with either lunati or comp cams

Buy the lifters from the same company that you get the cam from, if available. That way, there are no warranty questions if there is a problem. If you buy from 2 different companies, each will point a finger at the other.

Crower cams

They make a lifter with a small flat on them to send alittle more oil to the cam lobes. Just ask for the "cam saver" lifter set.
