Ok guys, now I am going to REALLY make myself look stupid!
Somebody gave me a bunch of Jeep stuff and in it was a funny looking bracket in and Edelbrock package with the part number 8034. They call it an AMC throttle cable adaptor for 1979 and up engines.
I may be think, but for the life of me I cannot understand where this think is supposed to be mounted. It it an actual extension for the cable itself? It seems awfully heavy for that. Does it go on the throttle bracket that bolts to the manifold? (None of the holes line up to anything)
Anybody? Pictures, drawings? It has really been bugging me that I can't seem to figure out where this would work on my 79CJ...
Signed,
