hi,
i have just bought a brand new 401 and it came with the dual line oiling system from milodon(with deep sump pan 8qrts)... we had the motor running and had distributor problems(it bottomed on the oil pump shaft) which it ate the camshaft and the distributor gear. after repacing both we shim the distributor to the correct height. took it for a test drive and apparently metal shaving got into the crank bearings and they went out. i have an identical 401 engine that is moderatly modified. i have hear to run the dual line system and also not to run it as it may cause damage.. which would you suggest to be better??? thanks alot im kind of new to the amc world
