Any recomendations for who to go to have custom forged pistons made. I'm looking to replace a set of JE custom flat tops(4.195, .927 pin, 1.28+/-comp height) for otherwise identical new ones but with a D-cup dish with a 20-24cc total volume. The crank, block, rods are ready to go just need the pistons. I checked the flat tops and not enough volume could be milled from them safely to reduce them to close to my needs. Shame... otherwise beautiful custom pistons!
I realize that there are several good options out there and I know that they won't be cheap...but I'd appreciate some feedback from people who have had good/bad experiences with having some made.
