Anybody have a recommendation for minimum flywheel thickness?

I have a flywheel from an AMC V8 (likely a 304) that has been balanced for my 401. Over many years of abuse it has been resurfaced at least 3 times.

Not sure on minimal thickness, but if your clutch is not slipping I don't see a problem reusing it. Have it resurfaced again and if your clutch slips buy a new flywheel and have it match balanced to your old one.

maybe the main problem would be running out of adjustment on the linkage, but then a shim could be bought or made. heat build up may be a problem. thinner metal would heat up fast than thicker. probably only talking like .030" total removed so shouldn't be an issue. a min. spec has to be out there somewhere. let's see what we can fine.
