Been finsihing the swap from the 258 to the 360.
Today I got it to crak over after getting the grouns taken care of.
Now I cannot figure out why I have no spark.
In a previous post someone told me about running a purple wire from the ignition module to the dist. But I have a purple wire (as well as a green wire which goes to the capacitor for the coil, a black wire and an orange wire) comming from the module. But the dist side of the plug has a black and orange but no purple. What am I doing wrong?
Also, I replaced the stock coil with a coil from accel. Should the pos post gave power with the key on or just when the motor is turing over? But the neg also has power when the key is on. They both jump up and down from .02-.5 volts. Should it not be 12 volts?
Anyway, I hope to get this motor going tomorrow. Any help is much apreciated.
