CJ or YJ front fenders

What is the difference. Are they interchangeable? They seem to bolt up to the body ok.

YJ fenders will bolt up to a CJ grille and vice-versa. The bolt holes line up, but the curve is slightly different, so there will be about 1/4" gap right where the fender curves.

A friend ran YJ fenders on his CJ so he could use the YJ flares but he wanted to keep the round headlights. :roll: :roll:

I pulled the front clip apart last night and found what you said bout the gap. I don't know if I can deform the fender enough to make it look good. I wanted to stay round but I did not want to have to buy new fenders.
