blowing oil out dipstick????

i posted this on engines too.79 304 great oil pressure runs good,but developed a problem the other day on a long trip at hiway speed(2500-2800rpm).it started blowing oil out the dipstick.i found the pcv and cleaned and chkd it looks ok,engine has about 15"vac at idle.it now spews oil from the dipstick even at low rpm short trips .any ideas???

Something is creating high positive pressure in the crankcase.
Could be many things, like excessive piston ring blowby.
Somehow, during compression strokes, it is getting into the crankcase.
You said you checked the PCV. Did ya do a compression check ?

did a compression check between 120 -140 on all cylinders (cheesey press in gauge).problem not as bad now only blows a little at hiway speeds now??
